Should I, shouldn't I??

So my friend wants a few of us to go to the Oxegen festival in Dublin. It sounds really good, there will be amazing bands playing like Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, Red Hot Chilli Peppers etc. BUT... it will cost us nearly £200 with staying there and the flight blah blah :( BUT... it would be amazing... agggh, I don't know what to do!

The poor apple :(

Have you seen the advert for the fruit blender?? It's soooo funny, me and my mum were in stitches. There's this apple skipping along and 'oh what a beautiful morning' is playing and everything is happy and then the apple holds onto a bunch of grapes which are like balloons. So the apple is going up in the air and then this pineapple pops the grapes and the apple falls into the blender and it's not such a beautiful morning. It is funny, well me and my mum think so anyway, well actually my mum found it quite upsetting seeing the apple fall in and die. I've only seen it twice though, look out for it!

Today...

... I have tidied the house for my mum, aww! What a kind daughter I am!? Well actually, I must admit I never help around the house so really I don't deserve any praise. After tidying the living room, bathroom etc. I decided to tackle... my bedroom! uh-oh, not a good idea because it's got to the stage where to tidy I've just dumped everything in this big cupboard and so today when I chose to tidy my room properly it meant I had to sort all of it out. I'm not even half way through and I'm blogging because I need a break already!

Whilst looking through loads of stuff in the dreaded cupboard I found a magazine from school for Media Studies and it's so cool! It's got an article in there about blogging and how universities actually encourage their students to blog! The title is 'the future will be blogged', so thanks to Lozza who helped me onto the path of the future! The main reason the magazine caught my eye was because it was a picture of Jack Bauer on the front. Of course, I wasn't into 24 at the time so I didn't bother reading itbut when I saw Jack I was like wow, it's got 24 in here! It's this guy writing about how he got hooked and how he introduced it to his friends- sound like someone we know people...

I can't believe I haven't blogged about this yet

So last weekend most of you know anyway the youth went up to Manchester to visit the Deans. It was soooo much fun, it was great to catch up with them and we must go up again! I won't say too much about it cos most of the people who read blogs were there and also Loz and Daz have said most it but I can say that Saturday night I laughed so hard it was great. You know when you just have the giggles and somebody just says something which probably isn't even that funny but you find it hilarious? Well that's what I was like.

Me and the girls didn't get to sleep till 5.30am, no surprises there apart from Sam *applause* who stayed up aswell which is a big shock because whenever we are sleeping in the same room Sam is always the first to go at like 2am so well done Sam, it was a great laugh to have you stay up with us!

On the Sunday we went to Trafford centre which is the biggest shopping mall I've ever been to in my life, it was so cool! And I managed to get some photos of Old Trafford and the Man City stadium which was very cool. Simon made us all spag bol which was lush (cheerz Si!) and then we all went to their church which was good just to see what 'The Sanctuary' is like in another city! We also got to meet their youth who are Luke and Naomi's friends and they'll hopefully be coming on the youth holiday- yay!

It was such a good weekend- a short one, but worth it!

Normism no. 2356

Me: What happened?

Andrew: Don't know

Me: why are you laughing then??

Andrew: Because it's funny

Normism no. 2355

So we're watching Friends and it's the one with Phoebe's wedding...

Joey: Oh hey, don't worry. I'm still ordained from your wedding.
Monica: Really?
Joey: Yeah, you'd think I'd give up being a minister and start paying to ride the subway? Huhuh...
Ross: Uhm, ministers don't ride the subway for free.
Joey: I had to read the Bible pretty carefully, but... yeah we do.

Andrew: Do they mum?

Keep smiling :-)

I make myself smile sometimes and I must look really strange to other people, but sometimes it helps to cope with embarrassment...

Today was one of those days where I just kept looking like a complete fool (no comments saying those days are everyday please)!

Firstly, don't you love it when you're just thinking about anything that is in your head at the time and then a random memory pops in and you just want to laugh, well that happened to me and I love it when it happens even though I look like a freak just smiling to myself because I have no one to share it with!

So that smile wasn't to escape embarrassment, just because of a funny memory, but then later a couple of things happened which must have looked so funny. You know in town there's always a massive group of pigeons somewhere near you, well lately I think I've grown a fear of them because they all seem to just fly off right in my direction- it's really scary! So I'm happily walking along and about 50 pigeons decide to fly what seemed at me, so I almost duck out of the way and people must have thought I was so strange! Then, I did such a clumsy thing and I'm smiling now thinking about it. It was just the classic not-looking-where-you're-going moment and I completely missed a step and very nearly fell flat on my face! lol lol

Just had to get those things off my chest!
