Alton Towers!!!

So just got back from Alton Towers, earlier than I thought which is good cos I have work tomorrow. Had to leave at 7am but when it's something like this I really don't mind getting up! I swear I've wanted to go to Alton Towers for over a year, since the last time I went.

Didn't actually get to go on as many rides as I've been on before cos it turned out more packed than we thought it would be, stupid kids who have finished their exams...

So in running order the rides I went on:

1. Ripsaw- bit of a silly one to start off with as you get absolutely drenched, not talking bout a little trickle of water but properly getting covered! That one was fun though and apparently Joe Lee's face was a picture.

2. Air- it said at the entrance a 10 minute wait... what... a... joke...! Turned out to be bout an hour I think, maybe more we were waiting and I don't even like the ride that much! We had some giggles in the que which made it more fun and the ride itself was ok but a but of breeze really.

3. Rita (queen of speed)- this one is quite new compared to the others and I'd never been on it before so I didn't mind having to wait again over an hour to get on. It was just me, Nam, and Char. It was pretty cool, it goes from 0 to 100mph in 2.5 seconds!!!!! Bought the photo and Nami's face is brilliant, just total shock! Got to say well done to Char for being brave cos she was terrified but she did it!

4. Oblivion- my favourite ride ever! I love it, even though it does last for only 10 seconds it is so worth it! I love the way it climbs up and you just think oh crap why am I doing this and then it hangs over the edge and you don't know when it's going to drop and then it just goes and there's a whole rush in your body when you go into the tunnel!!! AMAZIN'! Char got all the way to the end of the que and as we were getting into the seats suddenly walked away :-( never mind, there's always next time ;-)

5. Spinball Whizzer- we had a few minutes to spare so went on this cos we'd never been on it before. It was better than I thought it would be. Basically just spins round at the same time as going round the rollar coaster. It feels like you're going to fall off the edge which is quite scary.

Bring on next year.

Weston-super-mare let me hear you scream...

AAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Yeh I did that a lot yesterday at T4 on the beach! I'm surprised I haven't lost my voice. It was a really good day so I'm going to tell you about it...

I got up at 6am on a Sunday morning, oh my goodness that was early. Then got on the first bus of the morning which got me into town way too early to meet my friend Steph so I tried to find every single newsagents I could think of that would be open to buy a disposable camera (they were either shut r didn't sell them!). Then me and Steph went to Temple Meads train station to meet a couple of her works mates Emma and Emily. It seemed like everyone from Bristol going had the same idea of catching the train. The station was just packed out full of teenagers! We managed to get on the train but it was so packed out we had to stand but Weston isn't that far anyway.

So when we got into Weston we just followed the crowd, there's always somebody who knows where the entrance is! It was set-up so that behind Tropicana was the satge facing the stretch of the beach and going up onto the grass was little stores selling merchandise and they had a couple of fairground rides too. All of that stuff pretty much blocked out anything that was happening on the beach so no one could really sneak a look in! The 'doors' didn't open until 11 so there was just a massive crowd of people just waiting on the sand. We were right at the back and I kept looking behind hoping to see loads of people arriving but it didn't happen so I was getting all depressed thinking we were gonna be at the back the whole time! Then the doors opened and once they'd checked our bags for glass and bombs and took our ticket we were in and there was soooo much more room than what I thought there would be from waiting to get in! We just ran for it, it was so exciting!

Vernon Kaye and the other presenters didn't come on stage until later which is when I guess they aired it on TV. But they had warm-up acts to keep us entertained. My favourite from that was The All American Rejects, they rock! The Automatic were part of the warm-up too and they just make me laugh cos they have that guy who sings really high/screachy! Inbetween the acts there was this guy who kept coming on stage and telling us to scream for the cameras, I suppose it was so they could get some good shots for the programme. You forget that you're there for television so when they say stuff like that it was like oh yeh, they want this to look really amazing to the people watching, bit fake really!

So then the presenters came on and Vernon Kaye kept taking pictures of us. And of course there were the main acts and I think the only one who didn't sing live was Orson because apparently he had a bad throat. I liked pretty much all them except for Ne-yo (I wasn't really listening to him to be fair cos we were trying to find somebody in the crowd at that point!), Busta Rhymes and The Petshop Boys, I hated that one, sat down, really wasn't my thing oh and Danni Minogue was a bit boring too!! The others however, even the poppy ones were really good: The Zutons, Hard-fi, Orson, Razorlight, Pussy cat dolls, Will Young, McFly, Simon Webbe, The Feeling, Basement Jaxx, The Ordinary Boys, Embrace, Shayne Ward (the X-Facotr winner lol!) and... the best of all... FEEDER!!! Wow, they were good, amazing infact. They were the only ones where everyone went crazy! They sang my favourite song too, Buck Rodgers, I loved it!!! Some of the bands after they finished just chucked their guitars on the stage- no respect for musical instruments! Although one band, can't remember who actually handed somebody right at the front their guitar!!!

Me and Steph ended up at different places throughout the day and at one point we were by this white tent. Then we realised it was the VIP tent and Steph suddenly shouted 'It's Jade Goody!!!'
even though she's not a massive celeb it was still quite strange to see her quite close to us. Then we saw some other channel four actors and some guys from Hollyoaks too- OB awww how cute is he for anyone who watches Hollyaks!

At the end we could see Vernon & co. in the green room which was next to the stage and he started to strip at the window, that was quite funny! I've got to say though, it's quite bizarre actually being there cos when you look around you see lots of people just standing around not really doing much. I guess thats because there's so many different acts people have come to see different things. I think to really get into the atmosphere you have to be in the golden circle which is right at the front by the stage and I don't even know how they get tickets!

I was going to leave you with a picture of the crowd but I don't have one so you'll just have to look at the website instead on your good computer cos on mine it won't show up!

Pure artistic genious

I have just made the best phone cover in the world, well I actually made it yesterday but yeh... it is so cool and I am very proud of it! It's got photos of all my buddies! :-D I was going to put a pic of Adam Brody on the back (I bought a magazine the other day just because he was on the front cover and it was an American one and every other word was 'dude'!) but friends are obviously more important!

Aaaanyway, I'm going to T4 on the Beach tomorrow and I cannot wait, it's going to be hot hot hot and amazing. I have to catch a 7.10am bus on a Sunday morning, noooo... I do have an exam on Monday though but I shouldn't be back too late... hopefully... last time I said this I got home after midnight :-s

Also, I have to mention me, Nami, Babz and maybe Sam although she is not confirmed, are on a mission to see Johnny Depp in the flesh. So my wonderful idea which was inspired by our total obesession of the first film... is to go to London at some crazy hour in the night/morning and wait outside the cinema in Leister Square to see the stars arrive for the sequel to 'Pirates of the Caribbean'!!!!! I am just really hoping that Johnny will actually turn up cos if he doesn't that will be quite a downer but at least if it doesn't go to plan it will be a little story to tell!

So I've been *trying* to revise loads cos I have this sinking feeling that I'm really not going to do very well in my exams and before it hasn't been that big a deal but now I need the grades to get into uni. To be fair I don't need to get A's or even B's however, I do need to pass! I can't wait until they're over and I can go out everyday and just chill or actually do something! As soon as my exams are over I'm going to go summer shopping. I don't really like shopping (from what I can remember) but I haven't been for months so I need reminding how I don't like it again if that makes sense... oh, I'm also going to get a hair cut cos these split-ends are driving me crazy!!!

Could you hear the storm!!?

Well it's 6.10am and I have not had one single second of sleep and I have my first exam in just under 3hours... isn't that just great!!! I guess I couldn't sleep because maybe I'm really nervous about the exam, but it could also be because I was still hyped up about just seeing Hillsong United!!!

Last minute plans meant that me and Nami joined Nick, Dan and Tom to go to Hillsong London church where Hillsong United were leading the praise and worship and their youth pastor was preaching, just like soul survivor. The plan was to get there for the 4.30pm service and then get home bout 10pm, but we were too late because the place gets packed out very quick so we had to wait for the 6.45pm service instead which meant getting home at about midnight- not the best time to go to bed the night before an exam but it was worth it anyway!

So that was that, then this morning 'cos I couldn't sleep when I heard the rain tipping down and the thunder! How loud was that!? I got up and looked out of my window and my neighbour opposite was doin the same! I saw the lightening in the sky, it's so amazin'!

Right I'm gonna get some brekkie!
