*warning* incredibly long post

Ok ok, so here is my 101st post!

Sooo… I’m just trying to remember what I’ve been up to…

Ummm, I really am struggling to remember what interesting things have happened! I’m on Easter hols now finally, Woohoo. I love having the first day where I just stay in bed till 1pm and just slob around basically cos I don’t get a chance to that normally.

So anyway, last Wednesday I went to visit Gloucestershire University with my mum. That was cool, not really much to report on that except the campus I'd be on is quite small but there are shuttle buses which go to the other main campuses so I guess it wouldn’t be that big a deal. We didn’t get any free food much to my mum’s disappointment, she keeps judging the uni’s on how much free food they give you! Tomorrow we’re going to Bath Spa and that will be the last uni, which I’ll need to visit so it better impress.

Thursday… dance was a good laugh, it was one of those nights where so many funny comments were made and I guess we were all in a giggly mood, Nami’s already told you one funny thing that was said. Another one was this:

Nami: (whilst spinning around with her arms out) look, look at my hands when I do this… you can see the blood rushing down!!!

Me & Babz: oh yeh, wow, my hands are all red

Nami: come on Alicea do it and look at your hands!

Alicea: I can’t I’m black; stop it with the racial games guys!

It was funny at the time trust me and it might sound racist but I suppose because we’ve known each other for years so we managed to laugh about it together.

Friday was last day at school and I met Alicea and Babz in town to do some shopping. I actually really hate shopping; well only when it’s the type of shopping where you wander round shops aimlessly. But this time I was looking for a dress for my prom/ball- whatever it’s called. And I found one too with the help of the others. They took me to a shop on Park Street and upstairs they have a big selection of dresses at really reasonable prices. The lady was really nice too and she said once I'd bought the shoes I could come back up and she’d adjust it for me! The dress is pink and it has a shimmer to it. I’m usually really cautious when shopping for something like this but I am easily persuaded. I was quite hesitant because the dress shows off the back and I'm a bit conscious about mine but they both insisted and Babz even bought me a shawl to match for my birthday pressie :)

On Saturday I was at work, nothing different there except about 45 minutes before I was meant to finish there was an evacuation! I’ve told most of you this anyway but I'll re-tell the story anyway… so I was in the office by myself and I hear the announcement and then the beeeeep beeeeep came on. I ‘m thinking oh dear… what the hell do I do!? Luckily as I came out of the office Emma who I work with was on her way back so we went out together although she didn’t really know what to do either. My nervous laughter started to kick in making me look really unprofessional and then to make things worse a woman asked me if it was just a test and I just half smiled with a nervous laugh!!! When me and Emma were outside it was literally just me and her and the customers, no other employees! It was so funny although not really cos it could have been really serious but it was actually ok in the end.

Sunday we all went to The Mix which was really good and even though the speak Phillip had told the story before it was still just as funny this time. I've been to The Mix a couple of times before but I think I enjoyed it much more this time because I was with my own crowd, people I felt comfortable with. Before I'd been with my friend and her church group and she basically ditched me through the whole thing so I felt a bit of a lemon!

Last night I went to the very classy Mangotsfield fair… first night = ½ price! I’m usually well up for rides but I had just had pizza and I started to feel really queasy. I still went on all the main rides but I felt sooooo ill after each one. Think it’s because at those types of fairs all the rides just take you round and round in circles- really not good for the stomach!

Also, for the past few days I’ve started watching the fourth series of 24. I have to say I have really enjoyed it. I am enjoying the whole terrorist action but I’m finding myself wanting to watch the next one because of the love affairs going on, guess that’s just a girly thing.

Well… this has been a veeeeeerrry long post, sorry bout that guys :)
